Feature Film Production

afilm International Film Workshops in Sitges (Barcelona) offers a 3 month Feature Film Producing Program, where students produce a digital feature film.  From February through April, students form a practical workshop, where they collectively produce a digital feature film, forming part of the Production Department of a feature film.

The course is necessarily very intense, designed for the student with previous cinema studies and/or experience who wishes to complement their education with a hands-on,  international, professional  feature film experience.

The workshop will be lead by Yolanda Torres, an independent filmmaker (B.A. in Film from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles), Postgraduates in Directing from AFI (American Film Institute), and in Producing from EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs, MEDIA).  Yolanda has 20 years experience as a Producer/ Director/ Assistant Director, shooting features and advertising, both in the USA and Europe.  She specializes in Development, the process of feature film creation.

At the end of the experience, each student will have acquired practical, professional filmmaking knowledge, professional feature film experience for their cv, and a career plan.

* To qualify for the Program, it is required that all students have previous film education and/or experience, as the workshop is necessarily very intense, geared completely towards the creation of a feature film.  We would request that all those interested submit their resume and/or reels (shorts, etc).  The working language is English; a basic knowledge of English is also required.
