Feature Film Sound

afilm offers a 3 month English language Feature Film Sound Program, where a very limited number of students shoot a digital feature film.  From March through June, students form a practical workshop, where they collectively shoot a digital feature film, forming part of the Sound Department of a feature film.

The course will necessarily be very intense, designed for the student with previous cinema studies who wishes to complement their education with a hands-on, professional  feature film experience.

The workshop will be lead by Enrico Fiocco (Composer, Sound Designer, Sound Engineer), Trained at the Conservatorio Statale C. Pollini (Padova), Enrico is an experience cinema Sound Engineer, Sound Designer and Composer.  He is the Co-Founder of mem Music  http://www.memmusic.it He has collaborated on various afilm productions including the feature, “Leaving Hotel Romantic” (Sitges International Film Festival 2013).

At the end of the experience, each student will have acquired practical, professional filmmaking knowledge, professional feature film experience for their cv, and a career plan.

*To qualify for the Program, it is required that all students have previous film education and/or experience, as the workshop is necessarily very intense, geared completely towards the creation of a feature film.  We would request that all those interested submit their resume and/or reels (shorts, etc).  The working language is English; a basic knowledge of English is also required.
